This month’s topic is sparked by the collaboration between dance artists and scientists that is at the heart of Ferocious Beauty: Genome, scheduled for its Washington premiere run April 26-29. Gathering for the conversation will be: science writer Ivan Amato, who will show images from his book Super Vision: A New View of Nature; NIH’s Irene Eckstrand, who will talk about beauty and information; and Dance Exchange Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Johnson, who will explain how we dance about genetics.
Moving Dialogues are free to the public, but advance registration is appreciated. Please contact Hallie Stone at 301-270-6700 ext. 13 or stoneh@danceexchange.org, if you would like to attend or have questions about the event.
Dance Exchange studios are located at 7117 Maple Avenue, Takoma Park, just two blocks from the Takoma Park Metro.
