Dance Exchange Studio
Rental Information

The Liz Lerman Dance Exchange Studios are available for rent. The studios are located in Takoma Park, Maryland, a short walk from the Takoma Metro.

We welcome students of performing arts as well as yoga, t’ai chi, meditation and other contemplative arts. The space is geared for workshops, rehearsals and classes, and is available for one-time or ongoing use.

Dimensions and Capacity

Studio Dimensions:

Studio 1: 45 X 47 feet

Studio 2: 22 X 35 feet

Studio 3: 201/2 X 25 feet

Building Capacity:

The capacity of our studios varies depending on how they are used. If you are considering use for a workshop in which people will be seated - for a meditation class, for example - we can usually accommodate:

Studio 1: 141 occupants

Studio 2: 54 occupants

Studio 3: 35 occupants

Total for the entire first floor is 265 occupants.

If you are using the studios for a dance rehearsal or active event, however, we suggest the following capacity:

Studio 1: 45 occupants

Studio 2: 30 occupants

Studio 3: 15 occupants
