2022 DX Summer Institute
Friday, July 8 - Sunday July 10, 2022
Now more than ever, Dance Exchange recognizes the power and potential of artmaking. Join us for 2022 Dance Exchange OAC Summer Institute to explore the ways that dance and dancemaking can help us navigate a rapidly changing world. As part of our Organizing with Artists for Change Initiative (OAC), Dance Exchange Institutes embrace process and performance, dialogue and dancemaking, and the role of artists as changemakers.
During the Dance Exchange OAC Summer Institute, you can expect to…
Move together in classes designed for all ages and all abilities
Learn new creative tools and practices for socially-engaged artmaking
Experience a number of Dance Exchange projects led by a range Dance Exchange artists
Meet other artists, thinkers, leaders, and community members invested in the power and potential of artmaking.
This summer, we’re offering an In-Person Track and an Online Track. There will be a few sessions during which all participants will be online together to make connections locally, nationally, and globally.
Please read our Covid Requirements and Protocols for the In-Person Track.
