How long have you been engaged in the Dance Exchange community?
I have been connected to the Dance Exchange for about 10 years!

What's your favorite thing about being connected to Dance Exchange's Community and Creative Hub?
The variety and range of dance and community groups that use Dance Exchange’s Community and Creative Hub as their home, the beautiful facilities, and the openness of the community.

How has being part of Dance Exchange’s Community and Creative Hub supported your growth as organization?
Dance Exchange has helped me grow in all aspects of my career—as a mover and student, as a teacher and facilitator, and as an artist and choreographer. UpRooted Dance has "grown up" at DX for the past ten years.

How can our Dance Exchange community connect with you and your work right now?
UpRooted Dance is hosting a FREE community based workshop on Saturday, September 18th 3-5:30pm at Dance Exchange and we encourage anyone, even non dancers, to be a part of this workshop if you'd like to explore your identity and dream of a better future for us all! Participants will be invited to be a part of future UpRooted Dance performances as a result of participation in the workshop! Please register for the workshop by emailing uprooteddance@gmail.com.
